Container terminal: Shengmei mobile shelving export shipment ready for loading

Resources · Delivery & Packaging

Packed for the sea, delivered to the room.

Every compact shelving system leaves the factory in export crating built for salt air and six weeks at sea — and arrives in the sequence your installation plan expects. Here is how it is packed, what fits in a container, and what the journey looks like.

Packaging specification

Three layers between the steel and the salt.

Frames are long, painted and dimensionally critical. The packing scheme protects all three — and it is the same scheme the TD-INS installation pack photographs before crating.

Layer 01 · Contact

PE film & foam edge guards

Each frame and panel is wrapped in stretch film with foam edge guards on every corner — paint protection first, moisture barrier second.

Layer 02 · Cushion

Corrugated carton & PET corner posts

Individual cartons with PET corner posts absorb stacking pressure and keep painted faces from rubbing in transit.

Layer 03 · Structure

Plywood crate & steel straps

Structural crates on wooden skids, strapped and banded to the container floor — long members carried flat, never on edge.

Container loading

How much fits in one container.

Indicative loading for standard SM-ZN-MJJ and SM-SD columns, 2300 mm high. Final counts are confirmed on the packing list once your layout is approved.

Container Manual columns (SM-SD) Intelligent columns (SM-ZN-MJJ) Notes
20GP 6–7 columns 5–6 columns Terminal units and drives ride in one dedicated carton at the door end.

40HQ + 20GP 18–20 columns 15–17 columns Larger rooms split across two containers on the same vessel.
LCL Partial shipment Partial shipment Sample orders and top-up parts travel as LCL crates to the same destination port.
