Shengmei smart archive control room with access control, RFID gates and monitoring wall

Archive Management · 03 — Access Control

One door. One identity. One uneditable log.

Every entry into the archive — and every aisle opening inside it — passes through Shengmei access control: card, fingerprint or PIN, checked against role-based permissions and written to a tamper-proof trail.

Permissions follow roles, not borrowed cards
Every event logged, exportable for inspection

Authentication

Four ways in — all of them logged.

Combine methods freely per zone: a card may open the archive door, while a fingerprint is still required to move a shelf.

RFID card

Staff cards double as archive IDs — borrowing, entry and shelf access share one identity.

Entry + Shelf

Fingerprint

Second-factor check for sensitive rooms and high-value aisles — no card lending possible.

High security

Password / PIN

Per-user codes for terminals, with automatic lockout after repeated failures.

Terminal

Visual verification

The terminal camera snapshots every login; control room can compare face to card remotely.

Evidence

RFID Security Gate

The doorway that checks every folder by itself.

The RFID archive security gate uses high-performance channel antennas to identify tags passing through in fast, multi-label batches — detecting electronic tags in any direction across the sensing zone. An archive that has not been checked out triggers an immediate sound-light alarm with video linkage, while infrared sensors on both sides capture pedestrian flow in real time.

Role-Based Permissions

Who can do what — decided by role, not by habit.

The matrix is configured once with your archive office and enforced by the system on every terminal and aisle.

Audit Trail

A log no one can quietly edit.

Every identity check, aisle movement and failed attempt is appended to a write-once trail with timestamp, user and device. Managers export it for internal audit or external inspection in one click.
